Thousands of Parkinson’s Disease Candidates Interested In Clinical Trials Participation Each Month

In 2017 we focused our communication towards advanced Parkinson’s disease patients with motor fluctuations and achieved the following metrics:

  • 556,952 advertisement deliveries

  • 52,392 advertisement engagements

  • 40,736 website views

  • 1,815 unique individuals completed screening questionnaire

As a result of our recruitment success, our site has substantially increased the number of research coordinators and assistants to accommodate growth.  Our ability to fill sites is clear, and we can now use the same techniques to rapidly recruit for entire trials.

Comprehensive Screening

We fully qualify each candidate to the point that they are ready to be screened at the closest site. Other recruiting companies deluge sites with unqualified or uninterested candidates and they often do not have the systems, staffing, or medical knowledge to filter the good from the bad. Because of our intensive review of each candidate’s suitability for the trial by a well-known and experienced movement disorders specialist who conducts many clinical trials, we only deliver candidates to sites that our reviewer would be comfortable enrolling at his own site.  Our recruiters begin the informed consent process with the candidate during the first phone call and speak to them about time and travel commitments.

  • Focused high-volume Parkinson’s disease candidate lead generation

  • Highly trained recruiters

  • Informed consent review

  • Medical record acquisition

  • Physician review of individual patient suitability

Informed Consent & Medical Record Acquisition

If the candidate is interested and qualified, we acquire all the medical records needed to determine if the patient should be screened.

Our recruiters are not call center sales people, rather college graduates with degrees in science and trained at the Rocky Mountain Movement Disorders Center to understand firsthand what it means to be a part of research. These recruiters study a variety of neurodegenerative diseases including: Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease Dementia. Our recruiters spend time each week assisting research coordinators, visiting patients, and shadowing a principal investigator. Staff are educators and never sales people, nor are they simply data collectors. Recruiters speak to people about the opportunities, possible risks, obligations and potential benefits of study participation.

Physician Review

Our intensive review of each candidate’s suitability for the trial by Dr. Rajeev Kumar ensures the delivery of only candidates that he himself would be comfortable enrolling at his own site.

Dr. Rajeev Kumar is one of the world’s foremost experts on movement disorders, with unparalleled experience and expertise treating and researching Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Dystonia, and many other debilitating movement disorders.
